ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

(i) A candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate , Examination (Class 12) of the Central Board of Secondary I Education, New Delhi with pass in four subjects (one language ' and three elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto

(ii) Pre-University Examination (2 years) after 10 years of Schooling', of an Indian University, recognised by University of Delhi.

(iii) Intermediate examination of an Indian University/Board or an an examination recognised as equivalent thereto (pass) in 4 written subjects.

(iv) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) of the Council of Indian School Examination, New Delhi (Pass in five written subjects.)

(v) General Certificate of Education Examination of U.K. pass in five subjects at ordinary level, at least two subjects at the Advanced rd level. These two Advanced level course may either be chosen te from among the five ordinary level subjects or from outside this group, as prescribed by the University of Delhi.

1. Minimum percentage of marks required for admission to B.A. (Pass), B.Com. (Pass) Course is 40% of the aggregate class XII Examination. Physical Education Subject will not be considered admission to B.Com.

2. Minimum percentage of marks required for admission to B.Sc. (Gen.) Course is 45% & B.Sc. (Hons.) Course is 55% in the aggregate in Class XII Examination.

3. Minimum percentage of marks required for admission to B.A. (H) is 45% in the aggregate in class XII Exam. For admission in B.Com (H) Candidates must have passed with 60% in the aggregate and with 50% marks in Mathematics in Class XII. Physical Education subject will be not considered for admission in B.Com (H) 1st year.

4. For First Year B.Sc. (Gen.) Gr.

'A' 45% or above in the aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one Compulsory Language (40%) provided the candidate has passed each of the subjects separately.

5. For First Year B.Sc. (Gen.) Gr. 'B' and Agrochemicals & Pest Control:

45% or above in the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology I .and one Compulsory language (40%) provided the candidate has passed each of the subjects separately.

6. For First Year B.Sc. (Hons.) : Botany, Zoology and Microbiology:

55% or above in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and one compulsory language (50%)

7. For First Year B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics:

55% or above aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English (50%)

8. Admission in B.A. (Hons.) . English will be through a test which will be conducted on 6th July 2004.
