Rules for Refund                                                                                                                

 Refund of fees will be permitted as per University rules. 

Withdrawal from the College                                                                                             

 When student proposes to withdraw from the college, he/she is required to CC write an application to the Principal intimating the date of withdrawal. 

College Working Hours                                                                                                          

The college starts at 8.30 am. and each period consists of 55 minutes.

Examination                                                                                              

1.The University annual examination will be held by University in April. Last date of (v) filling of examination forms is 30th September.
2. There will be house  examination in December. Students who may not appear in the December examination will be debarred from appearing in the annual examination.
3. There will be internal assesment on continous basis . 25% marks have been assigned for it, such assesments would be based on tutorial work/class presentations/mid-term examinations in combination of the same.

Attendance Requirement                                                                            

Your attention is particularly drawn to attendance requirements for the " eligibility to the annual examinations as per the rules of University of Delhi. Attendance is compulsory. Minimum required attendance should be 75% of total lectures, practicals and preceptorials. Attendance rules will tbe strictly adhered to.

Note: The regulation regarding mode of calculation of attendance will be based on the principles contained in there solutions of Academic Council of University of Delhi.

1. In case of Science subjects, the requisite attendance shall be required in Theory and Practicals separately.

2. In the case of B.Sc. General course the requisite attendance shall be required in each of three science subjects, as well as in each of , qualifying subjects.

3. In the case of B.Sc. (H), B.A. (H) and B.Com (H) the requIsite , attendance shall be required in Main subject, as well as in each of the  subsidiary and qualifying subjects.

4. In the case of B. Com (Pass) and B.A. (Pass) the requisite attendance shall be required in each of the subjects.

Discipline                                                                                                                                        

The Proctorial Board will mainly function to promote a healthy atmosphere and calm environment in the College. It will look into problems of the students and will have the right to sit for judgement in cases involving breach of discipline. The students may note that the following aspects of conduct will be regarded as a breach of discipline:

(i) Negligence in assigned task and class work.

(ii) Causing disturbance to a class. 

(iii) Defiance to teacher or any college authorities.

(iv) Misconduct in the class room, causing damage to the furniture or any college property.

(v) Inciting others to create trouble.

(vi) Shouting and loitering in the college premises.

(vii) Walking out of the classes without permission.

(viii) Smoking in the college premises.

(ix) Diversion of buses from the recognised routes is a serious offence and will invite strict disciplinary action including expulsion from the college.

(x) Ragging is strictly prohibited. Disciplinary action will be taken as per rules of Delhi University as per ordinance XV-C.

1. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of the College and any part of the University system as well as on public transport.

2. Any individual or collective act of practice of ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and shall be dealt with under this ordinance.

3. Ragging ordinarily means any act, conduct or practice by which dominant power of status of senior students is brought to bear on students freshly enrolled or students who are in any way considered junior or inferior by other students and includes individual or collective acts of practice which:

           (a) involve physical assault, or threat or use of physical force:

           (b) violate the status, dignity and honour of women students.

           (c) violate the status, dignity and honour of students belonging to the Scheduled Castes     and Tribes. 

           (d) expose students to ridicule and contempt that affect their self-esteem.

           (e) entail verbal abuse and aggression, indecent gestures and obscence behaviour.

Library                                                                                                                                   

The College Library affords ample reading opportunities to the students. There are about 60,000 volumes in the library at present. The br library is housed in the spacious ground floor. The hall serves as Reading in Room. Magazines and Periodicals are always available to provide the fa latest information on current events and affairs.

Games And Sports                                                                                                                

Arrangements exists for Kho-Kho, Chess, Basketball, Wrestling, Kabbaddi, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket and many other outdoor and indoor games for boys and girls under the supervision of the th Director of Physical Education. Spacious grounds and sports materials to are available to the students. Colours & Prizes are awarded to meritorious athletes and players every year on the occasion of Annual Sports Meet.

N.C.C And N.S.S                                                                                                                

Students who are medically fit can offer themselves for enrolment in  N.C.C. Army Wing/Navy Wing/Air Wing. N.S.S. Scheme is sponsored by or the Ministry of Education and Youth Services, its objective is to educate the youth through community service. It aims at enriching the student's personality by developing in her/him an understanding of the social 1. environment in which the student live. Those desirous of joining it, may contact N.S.S. Officer. There is also N.C.C. (Girls Wing) in the college.

The College is a busy nest of various social, cultural and sports activities humming allover academic year. The associations conduct their programmes under the guidance of the teachers. These programmes are students initiated. .Following Societies exists in the college

College Magazine                                                                                                                  

 In order to cultivate a literary taste among the students, the college brings out its magazine "Shraddha" every year, The magazine is published in three languages, viz English, Hindi and Sanskrit and represents the faculties of Arts, Social Science & Science. Five student members are selected and five teachers are nominated on its editorial Board.

Medical Aid                                                                                                                          

All the students will be medically examined at least once a year by the college Medical Officer. The students may refer their problems of health to the Medical Officer and get his advice.

Student And Fund                                                                                                                

The objective of this fund is to render financial assistance to deserving students to enable them to meet their tuition/examination fees or purchase books. It also runs a Text-Book Library having 4000 books which are given on loan.

Fee Concession And Prizes                                                                                                

1.Fee concession is given to a few students on basis of merit of individual cases.

2 Students belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes and the other Backward Classes are awarded scholarship by the Ministry of Education. Such students are required to apply to the Secretary, Scheduled Tribes and the Backward Classes Board, Govt. of India on prescribed form, through the Principal, Immediately after joining the college.

3. Prizes are given to students, for academic distinction in the university Examination, for distinguished performance in debates and Cultural  activities, Sports College colours are awarded to sportsmen, winning distinction at inter-college meets. 

Scholarships                                                                                                                           

1. Harbans Lal Anand Memorial Scholarship for 2 students topping in first year and Second year examination of B.Sc. (Genl.)

2. Deepali Yadav, Memorial Scholarship for a girl student topping in the first Year Examination from all the courses taken together.

3. Pratap Singh Memorial Scholarship for 2 students topping in Iind year Hindi (Hons.) and best wrestler of the year of the college.

4. Shraddhanand Memorial Scholarship for one student each in B.A. (H) Iind year, B.Sc. Iind year and B.Com (H) IInd year.

Identity Card                                                                                                                         

Every student will be issued Identity Card. The students are required to keep their Identity Cards and produce the same on demand. They will deposit the Identity Card with the college office while claiming back their securities. In case of loss of Identity Card, the students shall have to deposit Rs. 10/- produce a copy of the F.I.R. from Police station concerned and also submit an Affidavit to the effect, for getting duplicate Identity Card.

Refund Of Security Deposit                                                                                                 

Security deposits are refundable, but payment will be made only on application and after deduction of outstanding dues, if any. If no application is received from a student, within three years of leaving the college, the amount shall lapse to the College Account.

Transport                                                                                                                             

The following D.T.C. Buses are available for Alipur 103, 109, 112, 124, 125, 129, 131, 135, 136, 138,144,147,148,149,154, 162, 171, 175, 189 , 193, 194, 882 and Gramin Sewa from Azadpur or G.T.K. Bypass.
